‘4TH SERIES IN 2025’: Again, Senator Buhari Trains, Empowers Another 100 Constituents in Oyo North

In the 4th series of capacity building for youths in Oyo North Senatorial District, Senator Buhari Abdulfatai has trained and empowered another 100 youths selected from the 13 local government areas in the district.
The capacity building, facilitated by Senator Buhari in conjunction with the Industrial Arbitration Panel, was held at Ago Are, ATISBO Local Government Area of the district, between Wednesday, 19th to Friday, 21st February, 2025.
During the training handled by a consultant, Royal Roche Hathaway Company Limited, beneficiaries were taught various ways through which they can become self-sufficient and employers of labour.
They were exposed to various opportunities to access grants and loan facilities available under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led federal government.
At the end of the training, each of the 100 youths was given a sum of 100,000 naira and a Certificate of Participation to start his or her own small-scale business.
Earlier in his remarks, Senator Buhari, who was represented at the event by a former chairman of the governing board, Federal Polytechnic, Daura, Katsina State, Alhaji Wasiu Oladimeji Dauda, congratulated the beneficiaries and charged them to convert the knowledge they have acquired into business opportunities.
The lawmaker expressed his heartfelt gratitude to God for the opportunity bestowed on him to represent the good people of Oyo North while he pointed out that the best way to thank them is to spread dividends of democracy among them without any prejudice, whether religious, economic, social, or political.
“As long as I have opportunities, I shall continue to make my people happy and expose them to opportunities to make life better for them at every time,” Senator Buhari stressed.
Expressing his appreciation on behalf of all the beneficiaries, Mr. Waheed Kazeem from Kajola Local Government thanked Senator Buhari for his kindness towards the constituents of Oyo North.
He charged the people of the district to sustain their support for Senator Buhari so that more appreciative dividends of democracy can be lured to the district.
