Aleshinloye Mourns Islamic Cleric, Alhaji Muhyideen Bello
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State and grassroots politician, Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye, MDII, has condoled with the family, Muslim community, and people of Oyo State over the death of the popular Islamic cleric, Alhaji Muhyideen Ajani Bello (Oniwasi Agbaye).
In a statement released through his media office, Prince Aleshinloye described the death as a devastating loss to the people of Oyo State in particular and the nation in general.
The ex-local government chairman, Aleshinloye, described the renowned religious scholar as an upright, forthright, fearless preacher with a penchant for speaking truth to the power that be.
“His very good legacies will etch his memory in the sands of time such that even generations yet unborn will pray to Allah for the repose of his soul.
“He will be greatly missed in Nigeria and beyond for his fearless advocacy for the downtrodden and ceaseless prayers for the country’s leaders.
“I condoled with Baba Muhyideen Bello’s family, his followers, the Muslim community, and the Oyo State government over this huge loss. I pray for the repose of the Oniwasi Agbaye’s soul,” the ex Algon boss submitted.
