Asiwaju Olumide Alli Mourns Oba Ismaila Olasunkanmi Abioye, Describes Late Oniroko ‘As Charismatic King of All Times’

Asiwaju Olumide Yaqub Alli (OYA), a compassionate and people-focused aspirant for the House of Representatives from Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency come 2027, has expressed shock over the passage of Oniroko of Iroko, His Royal Highness, Oba Ismaila Olasunkanmi Abioye Opeola, who died early hours of yesterday.

In a release made available to the media, the Ibadan tribal aristocrat and a chief of Oniroko, Asiwaju Alli, described the late monarch as quite affable , charismatic and highly respected among his subjects and other traditional rulers within the Oyo State traditional Council of Chiefs and Obas.

“I received with shock the news of the demise of Kabiyesi Oniroko of Irokoland, His Royal Highness, Oba Ismaila Olasunkanmi Abioye Opeola, Kunrunlolu 1. Indeed, it’s a personal loss to me. Kabiesi was my good traditional leader and staunch supporter.

“Kabiyesi was quite a unique traditional ruler who was held in high esteem by his subjects and among other traditional rulers, upholding values of organic and distinctive leadership.”

“We will miss Kabiyesi’s fatherly disposition, love and support personally to me and especially to his subjects, the good people of Irokoland, who undoubtedly witnessed notable developments and monumental achievements during his peaceful and prosperous reign.”

“I commiserate with his immediate family members and the entire people of the Iroko community and environs where the respected monarch reigned.”

“May Almighty Allah grant him Aljannah Fridaus and rest in perfect peace with his ancestors and his family, the good people of Irokoland, the fortitude to bear the loss of his passage.” Alli submitted.
