Barr Opeyemi Tijani Congratulates Senator Akintunde on SWDC Chairmanship, Lauds President Tinubu’s Two Years in Office

An Ibarapa-born politician and member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Barrister Opeyemi Tijani (BOT), has congratulated Senator Yunus Akintunde on his appointment as the Chairman of the Senate Committee on the South West Development Commission (SWDC).

Barr. Tijani described Senator Akintunde’s appointment to this pivotal role as “a testament to his proven dedication, legislative acumen, and unwavering commitment to the socio-economic advancement of not just the South West region, but Nigeria as a whole.”

“This appointment is both well-deserved and strategically sound,” stated Barr.
