On this occasion of your birthday, provides me the opportunity, as your Representative Member in the Green Chambers at the National Assembly to acknowledge your moral and technical support which engender robust legislative performances I display in the House of Representatives..

Diran, if I am to count the core Progressives in Nigeria’s politics, particularly under 55 years old bracket, you are a numero uno.

I am bold to say that the virtue of political consistence is derived from your father, a renowned progressive politician, late Chief Solomon Mojereola Akindele, “who was later asked to be called ‘Mojere Alaafin”. Akindele who was there with Awolowo, Factually, Chief S M Akindele played politics with Chief S L Akintola, Chief Bola Ige, Alh Lam Adesina, and Senator Abiola Ajimobi.

Not for once, you have never left the progressives fold. Your happiest moment was in 2015 when the progressives got to power, but your most happiest moment was in 2023 when Awolowo, Akintola, MKO Abiola combined spirits reincarnated in Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who eventually got to power,

You are a detribalised Nigerian exemplified by serving Muhammadu Buhari. Now, you are serving Bola Tinubu.
You are a shining example to Nigerians, you display rare vanguard of the renewed hopes of the present administration through which you showcase the goodness of the nation, You are steadfast. You are hated passionately by some foes of Nigeria, but extremely loved by true Nigerians.

As the erstwhile Chairman of Atiba Local Government which is part of Oyo Federal constituency, I can boldly say, we are proud of you.

Happy birthday, a friend and brother.

The only area we differ is the choice of football team, Diran is not in the same camp with President Tinubu and Akeem Adeyemi who are both fans of Manchester United, while Diran Akindele is a gunner.
