BREAKING: I’m Happy to Be Back Home – Says Engr David Okanlawon As Accord Reps Candidate Rejoins APC.
Dr David Okanlawon, house of representatives candidate of Accord Party in February 25, 2023 elections in Ibarapa North/Ibarapa Central constituency has dumped Accord, and returned to his former party, the All Progressives Congress(APC), OYOINSIGHT.COM reported.
In a similar development, Bashiru Lawal of Social Democratic Party, SDP in ATISBO/Saki East/Saki West federal Constituency has also dumped SDP for APC.
Okanlawon, an engineer, was a member of the APC before joining Accord in the build up to the 2023 election.
Lawal, an architect, was chairman of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria, ALGON, and later chairman of Accord when Rashidi Ladoja, was governorship candidates.
Okanlawon in a chat with this newspaper said that he was happy to be back home.
Alhaji Wasiu Adebisi, an Abuja-based Oyo indigene, was said to have brokered the deal just like he did for Wakeel Oyedemi of Accord.
Okanlawon is a pro-people thinker, successful businessman and notable philanthropist from Ibarapa Land.
