Celebrated Author, Akinlolu Akinade Launches ’10Cs of Successful Marriage’

Dr Akinlolu Akinade, a celebrated author, had yesterday launched his latest book, “10Cs of Successful Marriage”, at Christ Apostolic Church, Oke Agbara District Headquarters, English Assembly, Bodija, Ibadan. The event drew prominent figures, including politicians, chiefs, business leaders, and spiritual leaders, among others.

In his welcome address, Dr Akinade expressed gratitude to the invited guests, contributors, and supporters, emphasising the importance of planning and teamwork in creating the book. He stated, “Marriage and family are fundamental to our lives and the building blocks of society. When marriages and families disintegrate, the strength and fabric of society begin to weaken.” He emphasised that the 10 Cs are principles to live by, not just concepts to learn.

In his own remarks, Chief Saheed Oladele, the Bameeko of Ibadan Land, commended Dr Akinade for the book, highlighting the significance of marriage and the challenges many face in achieving successful relationships.

Professor Aderounmu noted that marriage is a divine institution that requires embracing and celebrating.

Hon. Shina Alabi, represented by Hon. Abiodun Ademola, emphasised that marriage is a sacred institution ordained by God, requiring tolerance and commitment for success.

The book review revealed that “10Cs of Successful Marriage” defines family as a divine covenant, emphasising communication, commitment, care, connection, compassion, and love. The book is a valuable resource for those seeking to build and maintain a Christ-centred home.

This event showcased Dr Akinade’s commitment to promoting healthy marriages and family relationships, offering practical guidance through his book.
