Dr Yunus Akintunde, Chief Sarafadeen Alli Pay Condolence Visit to Dr Florence Ajimobi over Daughter’s Demise

Senator Yunus Akintunde, representing Oyo Central Senatorial District, and his counterpart representing Oyo South Senatorial District, Senator Sarafadeen Alli, early this morning paid a condolence visit to Chief (Dr) Florence Ajimobi at her Lagos residence.

In deep, emotionally laden expressions of their commiserations to the entire Ajimobi family on the sudden demise of Mrs Abisola Kola Daisi Ajimobi, both senators expressed their sadness and deep grief on the incident. They both took turns to pray for her peaceful eternal rest and divine strength for Dr Ajimobi and the rest of the entire Ajimobi family to bear the fortitude of the loss of their beloved daughter.

Dr Ajimobi appreciated the gesture and visit of the duo whom she observed have always shown tremendous care and affection to the Ajimobi family since the departure of her late husband, former Governor Abiola Ajimobi, and now during this sad moment.

Dr Ajimobi remarked in high spirits that “Senator Akintunde once served with her late husband as the Commissioner of Works and later as Executive Assistant in a very supportive capacity, while Senator Alli, a High Chief in the line of the Olubadan stool, is more like a member of the family as a cousin to the late Governor Abiola Ajimobi, also of Ibadan descent.”

They both left Dr Ajimobi in high spirits with assurances to continue to pray and support her and the entire family while trusting Almighty God for divine protection and grace over the family, friends and associates who have joined them at this critical moment and pray for divine benevolence for everyone.
