Eid-el-Kabir: Let’s Embody Principles of kindness, Support – Ogunesan Greets Muslim Faithful

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a former Head of Service (HoS), Mrs Hannah Olawumi Ogunesan, MFR, has extended her heartfelt wishes to the Oyo North Muslim community and the entire Muslim community in Oyo State on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, the Feast of Sacrifice, which commemorates the unwavering faith and devotion of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham).

Ogunesan reiterated that the significant occasion is a time for reflection, gratitude, and the reaffirmation of our bonds with family, friends, and our communities.

She said Eid al-Adha symbolises the spirit of sacrifice, generosity, and compassion, as well as a reminder of the importance of charity and giving to those in need.

As Muslims around the world celebrate this auspicious occasion, Ogunesan encouraged everyone to embody the principles of kindness, solidarity, and support for one another.

The former Head of Service admonished people to remember the less privileged and make an effort to uplift their respective communities through acts of kindness in the spirit of unity.

Mrs Ogunesan said,“As you gather with family and friends to celebrate, may your homes be filled with joy, peace, and the blessings of this holy day. May the spirit of giving and charity that defines this celebration inspire us all to foster greater understanding, kindness, and harmony in our communities.

Ogunesan wished all Muslim faithful a blessed Eid al-Adha filled with love, happiness, and fulfilment and encouraged them to celebrate together in the spirit of harmony and cooperation, fostering understanding among all cultures and faiths.,”Happy Eid Mubarak”, she greeted.
