Int’l Women’s Day: We Must Continue to Amplify Our Voices, Uplift Each Other—Dr Florence Ajimobi Urges Women

As the world celebrates International Women’s Day, Chief (Dr.) Florence Ajimobi, former First Lady of Oyo State and President of the Senator Abiola Ajimobi Foundation (SAAF), has urged women to continue amplifying their voices and uplifting each other.
Dr. Ajimobi, a renowned philanthropist and advocate for women’s empowerment, emphasised that progress is not just about waiting but about taking action. “As women, we’ve broken barriers, shattered ceilings, and redefined possibilities, but there’s still more to do,” she said.
To accelerate change, Dr. Ajimobi pledged to continue empowering and supporting other women, advocating for equal opportunities, and using her voice to inspire positive change. “When women rise, the world rises with us,” she affirmed.

Dr. Ajimobi’s message resonates with her track record of promoting women’s empowerment, youth development, human capital development, and community development through the Senator Abiola Ajimobi Foundation (SAAF), Ajumose Food Bank, and other initiatives.

Dr. Ajimobi’s commitment to creating positive change has inspired countless individuals, particularly women, youth, and others, to strive for excellence and make a difference in their respective communities.
As we celebrate International Women’s Day, Dr. Ajimobi’s words serve as a powerful reminder of the importance of collective action and support in achieving gender equality, human capital development, and empowering women.
