MUPAF Congratulates New Asiwaju Musulumi of Osun State, Dr Ajibola Basiru ‘SRJ’
The leadership of the Muslim Political Awareness Front (MUPAF) has congratulated the new Asiwaju Musulumi of Osun State, Dr. Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru (SRJ).
In a congratulatory message signed by MUPAF national coordinator, Alhaji Lukman Obembe on Friday, the socio-Islamic organisation described the emergence of Basiru as a well-deserved title.
MUPAF wished the new titleholder Allah’s guidance and protection to succeed in the new assignment.
“On behalf of myself, MUPAF leadership, and the entire Muslim community in Osun State and across the world, I congratulate Your Eminence on your well-deserved emergence as Asiwaju Musulumi of Osun State. We wish you Allah’s guidance and protection to succeed in the new assignment. Barka Allah Fihi (Amin), Obembe prayed.
It should be recalled that the League of Imaams and Alfas in Osun State under the leadership of the Grand Imaam, Sheikh Musa Animasahun, had on Wednesday endorsed the nomination of Dr. Basiru as the new Asiwaju Musulumi of Osun State.
