PHOTOS: Sen Oluremi Tinubu Meets Alaafin, Other Monarchs in Oyo State
The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, accompanied by wives of the Vice President Hajjia Nana Shettima, Speaker Abbass, many governors and honourable members, members of the House of Representatives and Governor Seyi Makinde, met with the Oyo State Council of Obas led by His Imperial Majesty Oba Abimbola Akeem Owoade 1, the Alaafin of Oyo.
Her Excellency highlighted many achievements of her Renewed Hope Initiatives (RHI) programme, which had tremendously impacted meaningfully on Nigerians.
Responding, the Alaafin of Oyo commended the First Lady on her people-oriented initiatives being executed and assured her of the unalloyed support of all Obas in Oyo State; this was corroborated by the Ooni of Ife, His Majesty, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja 11, as well as the representative of Olubadan and the Soun of Ogbomosho, Oba Ghandi.
Her Excellency also commissioned the Community ICT Centre at Oladipo Alayande School of Science, Oke Bola, Ibadan.
