In a statement released on the commencement of Ramadan, Ogunesan emphasised the significance of the holy month, describing it as a time for reflection, prayer, and spiritual growth.

As the holy month of Ramadan commenced, I wish to extend my warmest greetings and best wishes to the Muslim faithful in Oyo North Senatorial District and the generality of Oyo state. Ramadan is a time of reflection and prayer, a sacred period that encourages believers to deepen their spirituality and strengthen their connection with Allah, as well as foster a sense of unity and compassion among individual and families.
The holy month of Ramadan offers us a unique opportunity to come together in faith and purpose. It serves as a reminder of the importance of self-discipline, generosity, and empathy, urging us to extend our hearts and hands to those in need. As we observe fasting and dedicated prayer, let us also commit to acts of kindness and service, ensuring that the spirit of Ramadan is felt far beyond our homes and communities.
