Ramadan Mubarak: Senator Yunus Akintunde Greets Fellow Muslim Faithful, Constituents
As the holy month of Ramadan commences, Senator Yunus Akintunde has extended his heartfelt greetings to all Muslim faithful in Oyo Central Senatorial District and beyond.
In a felicitation statement, personally signed by Senator Akintunde and made available to the journalists by his media aide, Kunle Olatunji described Ramadan as a period of spiritual reflection, devotion, and self-discipline, emphasising the importance of seeking Allah’s mercy, engaging in acts of kindness, and strengthening faith through prayers and fasting.
Senator Akintunde, who chairs the Senate Committee on Environment, urged Muslims to utilise this sacred month to pray for peace, unity, and prosperity in the nation. He prayed that Almighty Allah accept their fasts, grant them His blessings, and reward their good deeds abundantly.
This gesture is in line with the senator’s previous efforts to promote unity and goodwill among his constituents, as seen in his distribution of Ramadan gifts to Muslims in Oyo State.
