Salat al-Janazah , Islamic Funeral Prayer : Islam Clerics Pray for Sen Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi .
Ṣalāt al-Janāzah (Arabic: صلاة الجنازة) is the Islamic funeral prayer; a part of the Islamic funeral ritual. The prayer is performed in congregation to seek pardon for the deceased and all dead Muslims .
Islamic clerics have conducted funeral prayer for the immediate past Governor of Oyo State, Senator Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi shortly before his interment in His Oluyole residence on Sunday.
The prayer was led by the Chief Imam of Ibadan land , Sheik Abdulganiyu Agbotomokekere and assisted by Sheik Muideen Bello – Missoner, Alhaji Bashiru Olanrewaju- Chief Missioner, Ansar u deen, Alhaji Ishaq Kunle Sanni – Chairman, Oyo State Muslim Community, Alhaji Adekilekun- Missioner, NASFAT and Alhaji Murisiku Siyanbade- Coordinator, Ishaq Abiola Ajimobi Central Mosque.
They prayed that may Almighty Allah repose the soul of former governor in Aljanat Firdaus and give all the bereaved fortitude to bear the irreparable loss .
