Senator Akintunde Congratulates Aiyedatiwa on Ondo Guber Victory, Says ‘APC Will Reclaim Osun, Oyo States Soon’

Senator Yunus Akintunde has described the victory of Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa as quite deserving and also a signal to better days ahead for his party, All Progressives (APC), in the few more states where the ruling party is in opposition.

In a congratulatory message to the governor-elect, Aiyedatiwa, Senator Yunus Akintunde expressed enthusiasm and felicitated Mr. Governor-elect, APC, and the good people of Ondo State.

“While we congratulate Your Excellency on this deserving victory and divine benevolence in your life, we are particularly enthusiastic about this positive development signaling more victories in the few remaining states where APC is in opposition, especially in the Southwest.

“Our collective efforts in the repositioning agenda are already yielding positive results. We are confident of winning back Oyo State and taking over the reign of governance soon while the same strategic positioning is already in place in Osun and Oyo States in succession, respectively, in future elections”.

“On behalf of the entire good people of Oyo Central, Oyo State, and our party, Oyo APC, we rejoice with Your Excellency and the entire people of Ondo State as you prepare to continue on the mandate of governance for another full tenure as the governor, having been duly elected in that capacity.
