Sheikh Muhyideen Bello’s Demise Is A Painful Loss—Barr Akeem Agbaje Pays Tribute to Late Islamic Cleric

Barrister Akeem Agbaje has mourned the death of popular Ibadan Islamic cleric, Sheikh Muhyideen Ajani Bello.

In a condolence message released by his media office, Barr. Agbaje described the late Islamic scholar as a thoroughbred teacher, preacher, and leader of thoughts.

Agbaje described Bello’s death as sudden and painful.

“This is a very sad day in Oyo State. The pacesetter state has lost a vocal voice, an advocate of peace, and an Islamic cleric of note.

“Sheikh Muhyideen Ajani Bello was a man deeply devoted to Islam, and he used his teachings to correct societal ills and challenge people to be forthright, peaceful, and spiritual. His scholarly contributions transcended the religious sphere; he was a voice pushing for good governance that would better the lots of the people. Through his words and bold teachings, he reached the hearts of many across all walks of life.

While lamenting his passing, Barr. Agbaje prayed for the repose of his soul while urging religious leaders to emulate his life of piety and dedication to the work of the Almighty.

“The death of Sheikh Muhyideen Ajani Bello is sudden and painful. I pray Almighty Allah grants him Aljannah Firdaus and comforts the entire Muslim community in the state and across the country with the fortitude to bear the loss.
