2021: Happy New Year! Let’s Be Optimistic, Give Government A Chance – Open Salawu.

A Chieftain of All Progressives Congress(APC) from Ogbomosho Land in Oyo State, Engr Muftau Open Salawu has congratulated the good people of Oyo State and Nigeria at large for witnessing the new year of 2021.

The Waziri Jari Nupe, Open Salawu encouraged Nigerians to be optimistic and give Federal Government of the country led by President Muhammad Buhari a chance to keep on righting the wrongs of the successive administrations.

In his new year message, Open Salawu wrote:

“Nigeria Situation call for Caution.
The current situation requires support and understanding of the government’s actions.

There is no doubt this is a very difficult time for our country in terms of security, economy and health. The COVID-19 has really exposed our weak healthcare system which is affecting the economy by the new order and a strange situations that are very alien to us.

Economic growth has impacts on security and vice versa. And it is not too much of surprise, the surge in security situations of the country.

The Security architecture of the country is overstretched and needed to be improved upon to address the current situation. You may not need to use yesterday solution to solve the problem of today. Year 2020 was a huge challenge to our country. We pray and hope for a better year in 2021. Let us be optimistic and give government a chance.
