2023: Adelabu, Tinubu’s Relationship is Beyond Politics • He’s Committed to Accord Party, Winning Oyo Guber Election- Says Awogboro.
The Media Aide to Chief Adebayo Adelabu, Oyo-State Governorship Flagbearer, on the platform of Accord Party, come 2023, Comrade Femi Awogboro has cleared the hearsay about the relationship between the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his principal, Chief ‘Bayo Adelabu.
Comrade Awogboro, in an interview with journalists in Ibadan, said the relationship between Asiwaju Tinubu and Chief Adelabu is a father-son relationship that goes beyond politics and nothing can separate them.
“Let me categorically tell you that Chief Adebayo Adelabu is fully in Accord Party and he’s committed to taking the mantle of leadership from the PDP led Government.
“Team Bayo Adelabu is moving strategically without making unnecessary noise and the feedbacks we are receiving is impressive. As I speak, the political structure of Chief Adebayo Adelabu and Accord Party have received more members from APC, PDP and other political parties”, Awogboro revealed.
Comrade Awogboro stressed that despite their political differences due to party affiliations, the relationship between Adelabu and Tinubu is very cordial.
He explained that Chief Adebayo Adelabu has no intention to step down for any party’s candidate rather, some political parties have shown interest to team up with the ex- Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN) Deputy Governor.
“Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a leader that dislikes cheating of any form and he will never for any reason disturb anyone who aim to make progress in his or her endeavors. Good people of Oyo state should not listen to any rumor from desperate politicians who do not mean well for the masses“,Awogboro added.
Awogboro maintained that,”With Chief Adebayo Adelabu as governorship candidate of Accord Party, the party is progressing as ward and local government meetings across 33 local governments are going on accordingly.
Comrade Femi Awogboro urged good people of Oyo State to support all candidates of Accord Party in the forthcoming general elections and maintained that Accord Party remains the one to beat come 2023.
