2023: “APC National Youth Ambassadors” Inaugurates New Excos in Oyo, Mobilises Support for Tinubu, Folarin, Others.

All Progressives Congress (APC) National Youth Ambassadors has inaugurated its new executive committees in Oyo State. The group used the avenue to mobilize support for the party’s presidential flagbearer, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima. They also canvassed support for Oyo-State 2023 Party’s Gubernatorial Standardbearer, Oloye Teslim Folarin and other APC candidates.

Chairman, Oyo State APC National Youth Ambassadors in his opening remarks boasted that the group remains one of the strongest Pro-Asiwaju Tinubu’s support group. He appreciated the dignitaries in attendance and he charged all members to remain committed to the victory of the party, at the polls, come 2023.

While commenting, Oyo State APC Governorship Candidate, Senator Teslim Folarin, represented by Chief Yinka Folarin, maintained that he is a pro-people politician that people will never regret giving their mandates to, and he saluted the courage of the group’s leadership. In Chief Yinka Folarin’s words,”On behalf of myself and Senator Teslim Folarin, I welcome you all, to Ibadan, especially, those that are not from Oyo-State. Ajisebi Oyo Laari, Oyo Kiise Bi Baba Enikookan.

“Oyo is a pace-setting state. We have ways of doing our own things here…These jobs we’re doing here, we’ve started it very long ago and with God, victory is ours. The real works, campaigns have just started and this is why Sen. Folarin is unable to be here in person. He’s in Oke-Ogun and he will be there till Friday.

“In our own state here, Oyo, APC is not only Asiwaju or Folarin’s party. It’s our (Yoruba) party because APC is the only party that gave us higher elective position, Presidency, come 2023. We’re already mapping out our strategies and mobilizing supports, en mass, and by His Grace, we’ll record landslide victory, at all strata.

While hailing the leadership of APC National Youth Ambassadors’ Leadership, Folarin stated that,”APC National Youth Ambassadors is an additional ginger to us. It’s an opportunity that we’re counted in the schemes of things, nationally. Let me also use this avenue to congratulate the state chairman of this group, Hon. Shittta. He’s capacious and integrous. I wish that we’ve known each other for long. The Secretary, Hon. Akintola is also a mover and shaker of things. Hon. Eesuola is a former Vice Chairman and he’s very grassrooted, and such as many others here present. Indeed, we’re blessed with many great personalities.

He continued,”Election now is more open and it is much more guided, to give us more saner election. We need to work hard. So, it’s work and pray. Victory is ours. As par polling unit mobilisation, please, let’s all make sure that our polling unit is secured for all elections. Be it House of Assembly, House of Reps, Senatorial, Governorship and Presidential elections.

“Whatever the party is doing in our local government, please, let’s participate. Don’t let’s leave it to party’s elders, only. Sen. Folarin became Senator at the age of 39. He has been around for long and he values people, so, I can assure you that we’ll not labour in vain. He will prioritize local contents and patronise competent hands, at grassroots level.

Sen. Folarin’s running mate, Dr David Femi Okunlola,who was represented by Dr Wale Akinleye, lauded the leadership of the group and boasted of victory come 2023.” By His Grace, we’re winning. Let’s win at the polls, from top to bottom. Yes, let’s take it from top to bottom.

“I salute us all. Youths are majority of voters and this shows our strengths to turn things around. We’re doing it together now and when the soup is ready, may we all be alive to reap the fruits of our labour. Records and performances have shown it that Asiwaju Tinubu and Sen. Folarin prioritised rewards. So, rewards are imminent for people’s contributions and the duo will never take masses for granted. They’re tested and trusted. They’re up to the tasks and they will, meritoriously, serve masses.

The National Chairman of APC National Youth Ambassadors, Engr Kabir Abdul-Hamid charged youth to troop out, collect their PVC’s and vote APC at all strata, come 2023. In his words,”I’m glad to be here, in person, to witness the inauguration of APC National Youth Ambassadors, Oyo State Chapter. My call to Nigerian youth is to go out, to collect their PVC’s and mobilize enmass.

“We’re doing self funding of this organization because we all have strong belief in Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his charismatic mode of leadership. Inshallah, victory is ours.

“APC National Youth Ambassadors is grassrooted in all the 36 States of the federation including FCT. We’ve done our national inauguration in August and now we’re going round for the state’s inauguration. We’ve been conducting states’ inaugurations in the northern parts of the country and now, we’re in the south.

“On Senator Teslim Folarin’s candidacy, we’re very sure of victory based on his personae and performances, his capacity and gallantry…. To be a third term senator is not a child play. It shows people have confidence in Senator Teslim and that’s why they keep voting him to go and represent them in the National Assembly. Now, they’ve called him to come back, to come and be the state governor, due to his ability to do it, and the incompency and failure of the present administration led by PDP in Oyo state.

“And let me say this, I salute our state chairman, Hon. Shitta Sharafadeen. I’m very impressed with what I see in Oyo-State because I saw the place is organized and they’ve mobilised people en mass. If we even try to mobilize our local government canvassers, ward executives, local government executives and others. I’m very sure that this place is not going to contain us because the state chairman is a very hardworking person, doing the great job. I strongly salute Hon. Shitta and let’s keep it up, the sky will be our starting point.

“And to the good people of Oyo-State, and Nigerians at large, I thank you all for supporting our great party, APC. Let’s keep it up and let’s come out, massively, come 2023 to vote the right and best candidates in persons of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Senator Teslim Folarin and others. Tinubu is the most qualified presidential candidate at this moment. We’ve seen how he transformed Lagos and that’s why we, APC, have given him mandate to come and transform Nigeria, for we to have quality dividends of democracy at grassroots level. “He submitted

Guest of Honour at the occasion and former Saki West Chairman, Hon. Nathaniel Akano, emphasized on loyalty, reciprocity of patronage and reward system. He cited several examples and encouraged people to remain committed.

National Organising Secretary, Alhaji Jumoke Akindele lauded dignitaries in attendance and encouraged women to mobilize enmass. He carpeted Makinde government as perilous government and boasted of APC victory.”I named my last child Teslim because of two Teslims – Teslim Balogun and Teslim Folarin. The duo are great men. Please, let’s all go out to mobilize enmass for Asiwaju Tinubu, Senator Folarin and others.” He urged.

In attendance were Group’s National Publicity Secretary, Oresanya Toyin, Lagos State Women Leader, Mrs Kadijiat, National Deputy Auditor, Hon. Samuel Esuola,  Oyo APC Youth Leader, Prince John Aremu, Group’s State Secretary, Hon. Samuel Esuola, all newly inaugurated State executives, among several others.
