Though, it has been early rumoured that Oladeji has been given return ticket by the party’s stakeholders in the zone, but now, it has been reliably gathered that it just a fake news.
A trusted source within the APC revealed to our correspondents that APC in Ogbomoso zone has three major blocs or tendencies, and their stakeholders have all agreed to share the available elective posts respectively ahead of the primaries. The leanings are that of Sen. Fatai Buhari bloc to seek return ticket as a third term senator unanimously, while the Akala Bloc headed by Sen. Brymo Yusuf, chose Olamijuwonlo Alao-Akala over the incumbent Capt. Jacob Ajao as the consensus candidate, and the Unity forum and progressive blocs of Pa-Olorode, Honourable Minister for youths and sport development, Chief Sunday Dare are to produce the state assembly candidate respectively.
The source who pleaded on condition of anonymity reiterated and faulted the claims that Hon. Wumi Oladeji has secured the return ticket saying,”It is all a political gimmick and noise that does not hold water.
