2023: Arisekola’s Son Drums Support for Tinubu.
A former Oyo State Commissioner for Youths and Sport, Farouk Arisekola-Alao, has urged stakeholders in the state’s chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to support the party’s stalwart, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s 2023 presidential ambition, thenationonlineng.net reported.
Arisekola-Alao said the former Lagos State governor remains the best candidate the APC could present to win the presidential poll.
The House of Representatives hopeful noted that Asiwaju Tinubu has the requisite experience to give Nigeria a people-focused government that would also wipe out poverty and give the citizenry a sense of belonging.
He stressed that Asiwaju Tinubu is a selfless leader whose records as governor for eight years show that he built a formidable structure that produced many political leaders across the country.
Arisekola-Alao also said no other political leader anywhere in the country could match, much less beat the record of the APC stalwart in raising political leaders who are currently holding different offices at state and federal levels.
“Asiwaju Tinubu has done so much to ennoble the beneficiaries of his people-oriented politicking. Now is the time to pay him back. That is what the law of reciprocity insists on. This behooves those who have benefited from the do-good to others – the policy of Asiwaju Tinubu – to give their unreserved support to the aspiration of their benefactor,” he said.
