2023: ‘Diran Alabi Unveiled As OYHA Flag Bearer.
The Gubernatorial Candidate of Accord Party, in Oyo state, come 2023, Oloye Bayo Adelabu, and the leadership of the party has unveiled Honourable ‘Diran Alabi as the flag bearer of the Party, to represent Constituency-I of Ibadan South West Local Government in “Oyo House of Assembly”, in the next dispensation.
In a well attended ceremony held at the Baptist Secondary school, Liberty Road, which also served as the headquarters of the party in the local government, the Governorship standardbearer, Adelabu while presenting flag to Alabi and other candidates urged the members of the party and electorates in the local government, to passionately vote for all the candidates of Accord Party, for all offices the party is contesting for.
Adelabu maintained that,”Your support means a lot, to rescue Oyo state from conservative grip, and getting all our candidates elected, for all offices, will give my pro-people government, by His Grace, a smooth running administration.
While canvassing, Adelabu opined that “Hon Diran Alabi will render a quality representation to his constituency as he is already on ground, with many positives activities, ranging from education, health, sports activities among others.
Oloye Adelabu also used the occasion to officially hand over party’s flag to Hon Alabi.
While giving his response Hon. Alabi promised to consolidate on all he has been doing for almost a decade and vowed to bring more of dividends of democracy to his people.
In his words,”My movement,’IRORUN DE GROUP’ will always answer the calls of our constituents, in particular, and Oyo state, in general. He enjoined everyone to come out enmass and vote Accord Party in the forth coming general elections.
Among the dignitaries present were the local government executives led by Hon. Sunday Babalola, Hon Rotimi Ajanaku, the Federal House of Assembly Candidate, Hon.(Dr) Adebayo Adams, Ibadan Northwest, House of Assembly’s flag bearer and among several others.
