2023 Elections: Hon ‘Bimbo Kolade Welcomes Oyo Guber Candidate, Sen Teslim Folarin to Oyo Zone.
As the gubernatorial campaign kicks off, a series of strategic meetings have been outlined by the progressive party in the state, the APC, in order to woo electorates, party faithful and other stakeholders as the electioneering process draws near.
On this premise, Hon. Bimbo Kolade welcomes distinguished Senator Teslim Folarin to his home country and by extension the entire Oyo zone of the state.
In a statement signed by the former Commissioner, Hon. Kolade on Wednesday and made available to newsmen, he revealed the itinery as lined up for the visit and wished the next governor in the state, by His Grace, a warm welcome.
Hon. Bimbo itemised the following as order of activities scheduled for the visit come Thursday 12th October, 2022 which include interactive session with the traditional rulers in the zone; an interactive session with the Christian Association, and another with the Oyo Muslim Community.
Hon. Kolade maintained that other interactive sessions to hold in the course of the visit are with Artisans and market traders.
The governorship candidate of the party will also be attending the APC Atiba, Oyo West and Oyo East general Meetings. The Irede crooner enjoined all party’s elders, leaders, members and loyalists in the entire Oyo zone to attend the various scheduled activities.
Justifying that, the events coming up tomorrow is a strategic one to sell the candidatures of the party’s presidential flag bearer, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governorship candidate of the party in Oyo State, Senator Teslim Folarin, Oyo Central Senatorial Candidate, Dr. Yunus Akintunde and other progressive candidates in Oyo zone and across Oyo State to the people at the grassroots.” The statement reads.
