2023: Group HailsAccord Party’s Candidate,Oladiran Alabi, Canvasses Support for Pro-People Thinker As Next OYHA Member from Ibadan Southwest Constituency-I.
A front line socio political organization,”Irorun Group”, has mobilised support for the Accord Party Candidate, Honourable Oladiran Alabi as the next Member, Oyo-State House of Assembly (OYHA), from Ibadan Southwest Constituency-I, come 2023.
In his words, spokesperson of the group, Hon. Kehinde Ishola extolled Alabi’s virtues and stated that,”The good people of Ibadan South West Constituency-I, I am happy to inform you that Hon. Oladiran Alabi as Accord party candidate for Oyo State House of Assembly race, come 2023, is the right choice and a vote for him will usher in the much expected dividends of Democracy.
“Hon. Alabi is a grassroot politician per excellence who has been identifying with his people for many years back. He has proven records. As an individual, he has empowered teeming youths in skill acquisition programmes, actually, this first trailblazer in ‘ Computer Training Programme’ for participants that cut across Ibadan South West Local Government and Ibadan North West Local Government, held for three months, at Celestial Church High School, Oke Ado, Ibadan. He has organized Extramural tutorials for final year SSCE students, for complete six months, held at UMC primary school. He has sponsored fashion design trainings , hair dressing and barbing classes at various locations within two local government areas.
“He ensured payment of tuition fees for indigent but brilliant students at various times. Widows were supported with free loans to aid their businesses. As a strong advocate for education he organised first ever inter school debate among secondary schools in Ibadan South West Local Government and as a sport lover, and footballer himself, he has organised several football competitions, to capture and nurture talented youths, to engage and redirect them against restiveness, so as to better their lots.
“Also, as a member of local community development society, he has partnered with other members to provide street lights, drainage clearance among others to some areas in Ibadan South West constituency 1, so as to ameliorate the suffering of our people. Lets all join hands, together, to support, canvass and vote for a personalty that does not only give fish but also teach how to catch fish. Hon. Oladiran Alabi is a round peg in a round hole.” Hon. Ishola submitted.
