2023: ‘I Remain A Committed APC Member, I’m Working Assiduouly for All My Party’s Candidates’ Emergence – OYHA Aspirant, Hon Adewale Aponmade Reacts to Defection Rumours, Carpets PDP.

Former Member, Oyo State House of Assembly Aspirant in the last primary election of the All Progressives Congress(APC), in the state, Honourable Adewale Aponmade has reacted to his defection rumour and described it as figment of imagination of the false claims’ peddlers.

Earlier, an online medium has reported that the influential Youth Icon and Media Guru, Hon. Aponmade has been appointed by the Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Oyo South Senatorial District, Engineer Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe. As quoted by the medium, Aponmade’s name is released among the nominees of the expanded committees that will assist in the actualization of Engr Tegbe’s bid to represent Oyo South Senatorial District in the 2023 general elections.

Aponmade fumed over the reported news story and stated that,”I’ve been inundated with calls, text messages, and other communicative contents, through different interactive digital platforms, from political associates, family members, supporters, youth groups, media formations and business partners, at home and in diasporas, over an unfounded, defamatory and frivolous claims, reportedly made by Oyo South PDP Campaign Council and unprofessionally reported by an online medium, without verification and validation, that I’ve defected to from my valued party, APC to PDP, and that I, also, made the membership of campaign council of the party in the senatorial district.

“The rumour is figment of imagination of the false claims’ peddlers and to set the record straight, I remain a committed Member of Oyo APC. I’m, assiduously, working for the emergence of our National Leader and Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the next Nigeria’s President, Senator Teslim Folarin as the next Oyo State Governor, Barrister Sharafadeen Alli as the next Oyo South Senator and for the victorious outings of all my great Party, APC’s Candidates at all strata.” He stated.

“Once again, I reiterate it, unequivocally, I remain unrepentant APC member and by his Grace, my party shall coast home victory and record landslide victory in the next general elections. Let’s go there.” Aponmade submitted.
