2023: Ignore Detractors , I’m Still Very Much in The Race – MHR Hopeful, Hon Shakirat Adetunji Carpets Rumourmongers, Reaffirms Commitment to Represent Ibadan Northeast – Southeast Federal Constituency Diligently.
Member, House of Representatives(MHR) Hopeful, on the platform of the All Progressives Congress(APC), from Ibadan North East and Ibadan Southeast Federal Constituency, Honourable Shakirat Adebola Ibilola Adetunji has carpeted the rumourmongers who are behind a purported news story making waves that the successful businesswoman has stepped aside from the political contest, to represent her electoral district, come 2023.
Hon. Adetunji addressed her supporters and constituents, and as well appealed to them, to disregard the rumour as it is the handwork of her political opponents who feel intimidated with her rising popularity and acceptance, on daily basis.

“My dear leaders, esteemed supporters and worthy constituents! Please, mas and sirs, disregard the rumour that I’ve stepped aside from the race of giving you, Ibadan North East and South East, Federal Constituency, in the National Assembly, the quality representation you truly deserve, come 2023. It’s a pure lie from the angles of naysayers. They’re those who feel jolted with the massive supports you give me on daily basis….I just want you to know that I value this and I want to reassure you that I will never let you down. Indeed, I’m still very much in the race and I remain committed to serving you diligently. So help me God”, Hon. Adetunji slammed the rumourmongers.
Adetunji reiterated it that the general public should disrepair the rumour and maintained that there is no any iota of truth it.” How will the aspirant with the largest supporters step down at this critical stage and about to clinch the ticket?” Adetunji rhetorically asked and reprimanded critics.
