Engineer Faozey Oladotun Nurudeen, who is a perfect face of not too young to rule, hails from Ile Onilada, Pakoyi/Idode, Oyo town, Oyo State, was born on the 2nd December, 1983, in the cosmopolitan city of Ibadan.
He had his early education in Barakat Nursery and Primary School, Bodija.
For his secondary education, he attended Methodist Grammar School, Bodija, Ibadan.
As a staunch lover of education, for his tertiary education, he proceeded to University of Ilorin, in the Electrical Department, with a second class upper division.
As an educational zealot, he advanced to have a Diploma in Business Information Technology at the prestigious Canford Institute of Technology, Canada. He also bagged certifications in Cisco Certified Network Associates (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professionals (CCNP), Cisco Certified Internet Experts (CCIE, R&S), Certified Ethical Hacking (CEH), Masters Degree in Business Administration(MBA) at Edinburgh Business School, United Kingdom and Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE), India.
Engineer Faozey Oladotun is a professional technopreneur; with over ten years of high level management experience in telecommunications and non-governmental organisation(NGO). He is currently, the Chief Executive Officer of Sleek-Chip Technologies, a valued indigenous telecommunications company; Chairman, Cubic-Sleek Mining Limited, Chairman, Sleek Group Sarl, Cote d’Ivoire, and he sits on the Board of Sleek Chip Technologies, Canada.
He is the founder of Startup-All Global Initiative (SGI) and Creative Technology for Development Initiative(CTDI), both are non-governmental organisations, whose objectives are to cater for the challenges of emerging innovative businesses at grassroot level and promotion of economic and social development, through development and promotion of innovation, entrepreneurial culture, business incubation, economic policy research and expansion of the reach of technology.
Having travelled far and wide, his overwhelming international exposure in the field of information and communication technology (ICT) cannot be overemphasized. He is a member of the Local Multistakeholder Advisory Group (LMAG) of The Nigeria Internet Governance Forum (NGIF) and Nigeria Focal Point For Poland-Africa Congress and a member of Africa ICT Alliance.
He is also a member of the Presidential Steering Committee of the United NATIONS-WSIS implementation in Nigeria; an accredited NGO member of the World Summit Information Society Forum by International Telecommunications Union (ITU) _ a United Nations organ in the area of telecommunications and ICT standard and development.
The young Faozey is a member of the G-20 Young Entrepreneurs’ Alliance, World Youths Alliance and Internet Corporation for Assigned Names And Numbers (ICANN).
Another remarkable achievement of this consummate and astute entrepreneur, that is worthy of note, is the indelible success he attained in fostering a symbiotic and sustainable relationship with the Polish Chamber of Commerce, Poland, to establish gateway companies that will cater for trade and investment between European Union and Nigerian market.
