2023: MHR Hopeful, Hon John Olaleru Obtains Interest, Nomination Forms, Assures Quality Representation.
Member, House of Representatives(MHR) Hopeful from from Kajola, Itesiwaju, Iwajowa and Iseyin Federal Constituency, on the platform of the All Progressives Congress(APC), come 2023, and former Deputy Chief Whip, Oyo-State House of Assembly, Honourable John Olaleru has obtained expression of interest and nomination forms, to represent the federal constituency, and he assured quality representation, if the mandate is given.
This Newspaper , Africano Trumpeters recalled that prior to 2019 general election, Hon. Olaleru was a popular and leading ‘House of Reps’ aspirant, in the federal constituency, with brighter chances of winning the shadow election of APC, before the party leadership, then, resolved the electoral district’s ticket issue through affirmation, consensus, to favour the current ‘Rep’ who is now seeking higher position. Meanwhile, despite that and other opportunities that eluded him, as a core progressive, Hon. Olaleru, as usual, remained committed party man and mobilized en mass for the standardbearer of the party, in the federal constituency, and across the board.
As reliably gathered, common impression in the federal constituency, as at today, is that,“this is pay back time for Hon. Olaleru as an unalloyed party loyalist and this is a challenge for APC leadership to prove its unrivalled loyalty-reward system.
“With his wide experience and army of followership that he maintains till today, if the mandate is given to Olaleru, APC is assured of landslide victory in the general elections and constituents are lucky to have unprecedented dividends of democracy, at their doors steps’, a Constituen, Mr Olawale affirmed.
In his short speech after collecting the forms, Hon. Olaleru stated that,” I, John Olaleru, wholeheartedly assure my leaders and constituents that if the mandate is given, I will not let you down. As a core progressive and experienced politician, I promise my unalloyed loyalty, as that remains my trademark, to the party leadership and I promise my esteemed constituents unprecedented quality representation. ‘I win, you win’. So help me God.” He reiterated.
