2023: OFAB Supporters In Ibarapa Endorse Kolapo Kola-Daisi’s Oyo South Senatorial Ambition(PHOTOS).
Supporters and campaign executive members of Asiwaju Olawuyi Folarin Alao Beneficent (OFAB), a former Oyo South senatorial aspirant, have declared their support for the frontline senatorial hopeful in the same district, Mr. Kolapo Kola-Daisi.
During a party event held in Ibarapa East, the supporters and loyalists of OFAB, who recently stepped aside from the district’s senatorial contest, committed their full support for Mr. Kola-Daisi, whom they described as the only viable candidate they believe will proudly represent Oyo South, and bring assured benefits to the Ibarapa zone.
A leader of the group, Mr. Oladepo Kehinde aka 77 from Ibarapa East , who led the the OFAB followers to join the existing Kolapo Kola-Daisi supporters, expressly stated that their decision was based on a conviction on Mr. Kola-Daisi’s competence and antecedents.
“We know you, anyone who claims not to know you and your impressive antecedents in this our zone and even across our state as a whole must be lying to him or herself.”
“Distinguished Idris Kolapo Kola-Daisi, the decision to bring all our supporters to join you and your team was an easy one. Of all the aspirants, we adjudge you as the most credible and with the competence and support base that can actually make our party win Oyo South. And I pray that so shall it be!”, Kehinde stressed.
Together with the Director-General of his campaign, Hon. Lekan Afuye, who was also present at the event, Mr. Kolapo Kola-Daisi welcomed the teeming OFAB supporters into their fold with open arms, while promising not to break the trust put in him.
“On behalf of all the members of my team. I welcome you all with open arms. You won’t regret this decision I believe you made for the good of our Oyo South. You can be assured of my team’s cooperation with you to make us achieve our goal together. I thank you all so much”, said Kola-Daisi.
The APC senatorial Primaries will be held on the 24th of May, 2022, and this move adds to many aces that keep Kolapo Kola-Daisi in the frontline seat for the party’s Oyo South senatorial ticket.
