2023: Ogbomoso Agog As Oyo APC Hold Tinubu-Shetima Rally(PHOTOS).
The entire Ogbomoso, in Oyo State, agog as hundreds of All Progressives Congress, APC members in the zone stormed the ancient town embarking on a procession Tagged “Tinubu-Shetima Rally”.
The political procession which took off at the Randa residence of the late Adebayo Alao-Akala was terminated at Oja Igbo.
Radio Nigeria correspondent, Adedayo Adelowo reported that party big wigs and other faithful participated in the walk.
Speaking on the importance of the political rally, APC chairman in Oyo State, Hon Isaac Omodewu said the rally was to stress the readiness of the party to clinch presidential and governorship seats come, 2023.
Expressing confidence in the strength of the party, the governorship candidate of APC in Oyo state ahead of the 2023 election, Senator Tesilim Folarin explained that the party had done all the necessary consultations, noting that the rally was just to show strengths and to display the overwhelming acceptability of the party in the zone.
The member representing Ogo Oluwa/Surulere Federal Constituency, Hon. Segun Odebunmi, who is contesting to return to the National Assembly maintained that the good works of the party would definitely secure victory at all levels.
In separate interviews, a member Oyo State House of Assembly, Wunmi Oladeji, Olamiju Alao-Akala, and Adesoji Adegoke respectively maintained that the APC was on the ground to bring meaningful development to Oyo State, and Nigeria, at large.
