2023: Oluyole Agog As Philosopher-Queen, Oke Are-Aina Declares OYHA’s Aspiration, Assures Quality, Pro-People Representation(PHOTOS).

The Influential Political Communicator and Frontline Gender Equal Opportunities Advocate, Honourable(Mrs) Oke Are-Aina has, on Monday, March 21, declared her aspiration to represent Oluyole State Constituency in Oyo-State House of Assembly, on the platform of the All Progressives Congress(APC), come 2023, at Olomi Primary School 1, Olomi, in Ibadan.

The State Coordinator of Asiwaju Women Cooperative Society(AWCS), Hon Oke-Are while addressing teeming party faithful stated that,”By introduction, I’m Aina Oke-Are popularly known as JEGA. People nicknamed me as Jega based on my commitments and contributions in politics, especially, at grassroots and national levels. Meanwhile, I personally found deep meanings for this acronym,J-E-G-A…. J for being ‘Just’, E for being ‘Equitable’, G for being ‘Gallant’ and A for being ‘Accountable’. Humbly, these are my core values and characters. Indeed, justice, equity, gallantry and accountability are my watchwords and I assure you that I will make you all proud.

The Vice Chairperson of Progressive Oyo Connect(POC), Oke-Are continued and said that,”I’m up to the task and I promise that I will never let you down. You have tested me with councillorship position and without trying to sound immodest, I can say it unequivocally that I didn’t disappoint you and my good people of Ward 2 are here to testify to this. Yes, if this mandate, to represent Oluyole State Constituency in Oyo-State House of Assembly, is given, I promise that I will reposition our state constituency and serve you all, diligently.

While extolling the the Southwest Acting Coordinator of SWAGA, and Delegate Member, Oke-Are’s virtues, the immediate past APC Women Leader in the state, Hon.(Mrs) Mabel Williams lauded her as a committed helmsman and assured the party faithful that Aina will represent them, purposefully and charismatically.

Leaders and chieftains of the party in the local government took turns to respectively salute The State Women Leader of Tinubu Tranaformation Agenda(TITAN), Oke-Are and hailed her over immense contributions to the progress of APC in the local government.

The meeting was presided over by the party Chairman in the Local Government, Hon. Waheed Akinleye in the presence of overall leader in the LGA, Baba Akilapa, Leader Kamo Adeoye, Members of AWCS Oyo state chapter, Members, SWAGA Oluyole LGA, Members TITAN Oluyole LGA and several others.
