OYHA 2023: Constituents Rejoices’ As Mr GRA, His Supporters Storm APC Meeting in Ibadan North LG, Rolls Out 1.8 Million Naira Scholarship, Gives Out Cash, Other Gift Items to The Party.

It was a memorable moment in the political history of Ibadan North Local Government Area as the Media Mogul and Frontline Oyo-State House of Assembly Hopeful from Ibadan North Constituency-I, Alhaji AbdulRasaq AbdulGaneey (Mr GRA), and his teeming supporters stormed the APC Local Government meeting, today, Wednesday, April 27, to declare his intention to represent Ibadan North constituency-I in the house before the party leadership and faithful, at CAC Basic School, OJE Igosun, Oke Apon Area, Ibadan.
Mr GRA was given red carpet reception by Market men and women, artisans, traders association, students from various institutions and academics, band men and drummers, non politicians across the State, who gathered at Total Garden area to welcome the influential Broadcast Journalist who arrived the venue around 3:25 pm.
Mr GRA was accompanied to the venue of the meeting by his loyalists and supporters, in multitude, who were chanting his campaign slogan, “GRA! Our Own ( GRA! TIWANI )”. His arrival caught the attention of residence in other areas such as Yemetu, Beere, Isale Afa, Adeoyo, Oje, UCH, Secretariat, Gate, Inalende and Mokola, and the hailing of his name rented the air.
In his remarks, Alhaji Shina Alabi congratulated and appreciated the congregants for rallying round Mr GRA, since he is one of the most qualified aspirants for the position, of a legislator, in the state. “GRA is very brilliant, articulate and intelligent….Also, let me inform you our esteemed party faithful; Major stakeholders in Oyo PDP are on the verge of defecting to Oyo APC in the coming weekends”, Alh. Shina stated.
In his declaration speech, the influential broadcaster and Oyo State House of Assembly Hopeful from Ibadan North Constituency-I, Alhaji AbdulRasaq AbdulGaneey (Mr GRA ) appreciated all the leaders, executives, party members and his supporters across the state who witness the groundbreaking declaration.”I am for everybody. My pro-people representation will facilitate various dividends of democracy to my constituency. I will sponsor bills that will bring about positive change to the lives of the people across the state. My experience in journalism will enhance quality representation in Oyo State House of Assembly,” he assured.
Mr GRA continued,”I hereby give out 18 forms to the two constituencies in Ibadan North, for interested constituents to learn broadcasting and achieve great success in life”.
Also, Mr GRA, donated two electric fans and cash gifts to APC in order to ensure smooth running of the party.
In attendance were Alhaji Oladeji BAO, Dr Mrs Amdalat Adepeju Esan, Mama Olasope, Alhaja Tairat Adeyemi, Pa Adedokun, Elder Fatoyinbo, Alhaja Tinuade Adigun ( APC State Women Leader ), Hon Mrs Funke Egunjobi ( Ibadan North APC Women Leader ), Hon Abiodun Omotosho, Jibril Aroso, among several other party chieftains.
