2023: PDP Must Stop Playing Bitter Politics – Oyo Guber Hopeful, Barr Akeem Agbaje Warns, Condemns Attacks on APC Facilities, Aspirants’ Billboards.

A leading Gubernatorial Aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress(APC), in Oyo State, come 2023, Barrister Akeem Agbaje has warned ruling People’s Democratic Party(PDP) to stop playing politics of bitterness.

The stern warning of the legal Luminary, Agbaje came on the heel of series of attacks, launched, on the party facilities, and destructions of APC aspirants’ billboards across the state by the alleged thugs of PDP.

Barr Agbaje maintained that the attacks are destructive and condemnable. He stated that it indicated the plans of some desperate politicians to reintroduce intimidation and violence into the politics of the pacesetter state, ahead of 2023 general elections.

“PDP must stop playing politics of bitterness. The violent attacks on our party’s facilities, and destructions of our people’s billboards, across the state are being carried out by some political desperados who felt uncomfortable about the efforts of the opposition party to reclaim power in the state, come 2023.”Agbaje alleged.

The Scion of Agbaje Salami L’Ayeye continued,”It’s crystalline clear that the merchants of violence of the ruling party who work under the supervision of their known chief thug are carrying out these undemocratic and violent attacks. Meanwhile, we, progressive party members and leaders are not discouraged by their reactionary approaches to issues, and destructive disposition, and I can say it boldly that all attempts to run down our party before the next general election would be legally and intellectually resisted.

Agbaje appealed to Oyo APC faithful to remain law abiding but vigilant and undaunted, even in the face of the intimidation and harassments, as all measures, within the armpit of law, are being put in place to nib in bud, the rising waves of the attacks.

Agbaje called on the relevant security operatives to begin a clampdown on all political thugs being employed by the ruling PDP “for the main objective of desperately returning Gov. Makinde to office for the second term, in office, come 2023, by all means.
