2023: Sen Soji Akanbi Calls on Yorubas, Nigerians to Vote Massively for Asiwaju Tinubu As Only Capable, Statesmanly Presidential Candidate That This Moment Calls for.

The Deputy National Chairman of SWAGA, Senator Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi has called on Southwesterners to troupe out, get their Permanent Voters Cards(PVC’s) and vote en mass for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the only capable, charismatic and statesmanly presidential candidate that this moment calls for, in Nigeria.

Okanlomo of Ibadan land, Chief Akanbi maintained that it is only Asiwaju Tinubu that has a midas touch and statesmanlike solutions to the present perplexities and array of challenges facing Nigeria, as a nation.

In an Exclusive Interview with this Newspaper, Africano Trumpeters, early this morning, the influential Figure of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in the state, and Southwest, Akanbi emphasized the actualisation of Presidential Bid of the party’s National Leader, and Standardbearer, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu “Jagaban”.

The notable Philanthropist, Akanbi stated that,”In Southwest, in Yoruba land, we don’t need just a mere winning but we need a landslide winning. In terms of voting strengths, according to the statistical data released by INEC, after Northwest, it is Southwest. Meanwhile, with the results of previous elections, our turnouts used to be low compared to the numbers of our registered voters in Southwest, but this time around, I want to passionately appeal to us all to vote, massively, for the best man for the job, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (Jagaban).

According to INEC Nigeria, the former Senator of Oyo South District, Akanbi reeled out voters’ statistical data and revealed that,”Northwest has 22.67 million voters, followers by Southwest with 18.3 million voting strengths. Other zones are: Southsouth 15.2 million, North Central 14.1 million, North East 12.8 million, and Southeast 11.49 million. TOTAL: 96.2 million voters

The Chief Initiator of Coalition Movement of Bola Ahmed Tinubu (COMBAT), Sen. Akanbi continued,”Now, in Southwest, our voting strengths are 18.3 million. So, the major assignments for all of us in Yoruba land now is to galvanize all registered voters to get their PVC’s and also vote, en mass, for our Worthy Son and the best man for the job, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The Noble Statesman, Akanbi maintained that Southwest is very strategic in 2023’s general elections and stated that.”As I said earlier, we must not be concerned with just a mere winning but with the landslide victory of wider margins. We the Yorubas need wide margins and landslide victory, come 2023, because our Northwest bloc votes are sacrosanct but it might not be so certain. So, Southwest must actively rise to the occasion to cover up the likely drops in votes of Asiwaju in the North knowingfully well that there are also northern presidential candidates. Thus, such as other zones, Southwest remains a key factor, come 2023.

The grassroots Politician, Akanbi reiterated it that all Yorubas need to come together, resolve personal differences and work together as a formidable group, to elect “a man with midas touch”, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the next Nigeria’s President, in 2023

Akanbi maintained that,”Importantly, we need to reach out to each other, and galvanize voters to collect their PVC’s and encourage them to vote, massively, for the only statesmanly Candidate in the race, Asiwaju Tinubu. This call is not made, only, because Asiwaju is our son in Yoruba land but also, because, he is the only one in the race who has capacity to lead Nigeria at this moment, as we all know. Asiwaju Tinubu is a unifier. He has demonstrated this as the executive governor of Lagos state. Then, he appointed Nigerians – Hausas, Igbos, and other tribes to his cabinet. He will muster capable hands, across all divides, lines and tribes, as cabinet members to take our dear Nation, Nigeria to the greater heights.

Akanbi hailed Asiwaju Tinubu and said that,”Jagaban of Nigeria is an ingenious helmsman and technocrat who has all it takes to turn Nigeria’s economy around and make it one of the best in the world. Lagos is there as an empirical evidence of how to turn a state, a nation to prosperous one.

On being a detribalized Nigerian, Sen. Akanbi described Tinubu as a man of people.”Immediately, after APC Presidential Primaries, our Leader, Asiwaju Tinubu swang into action and he reached out to all aspirants. He’s been reaching out and meeting people, directly and indirectly, irrespective of their leanings. PDP governors and leaders, inclusive. So, this indicates that Asiwaju, when the mandate is given, by His Grace, will not lead as a president for APC only but as charismatic leader of all.

While extolling former Lagos state governor’s qualities and worths, Akanbi described Asiwaju Tinubu as as an integrous and virtuous leader, who is a true icon of Yoruba Omoluabi ethos and African standards of values.
