2023: Sen Teslim Folarin and Prince Olaide Akinremi: The Synergy of Hope for Oyo State !! By Aare Adekunle Ayo Bolarinwa

History has rightly taught us that no nation ever develop above the quality of its leaders. This was corroborated by the great father of economics, Adams Smith in his book titled “The Wealth of Nations”. He stated that the true wealth of any Nation is not the natural resources available to that nation, but it is the human resources that are capable of transforming these natural resources into material wealth.

Oyo State has been unfortunate to have been governed over the years by those who do not possess the vision, ingenuity and mental acuity to utilize the vast God given natural resources of our dear state to engender sustainable transformation of the socio-economic conditions of our state to a favourable and prosperous one.

Without boring anyone with much words, another election year is here again. It’s time for us to chose leaders again. This time around, the people of Ibadan North Federal Constituency must be careful to chose who will represent us at the Red Chambers and who will govern our dear state. For us to ensure sustainable development, we must choose based on capacity and competence.

There is no gainsaying that Senator Teslim Folarin, the govership candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Hon. (Prince) Olaide Akinremi, the federal representative Candidate of the APC for Ibadan North Federal Constituency have both distinguished themselves and demonstrated the zeal, passion and commitment to bring development to their people. They have shown capacity to actualize visions. They share a common trait of great mental and intellectual capacity to generate ideas and bring them to fruition. This is evidenced with their performances in the offices they have occupied so far.

His Excellency, Senator Teslim Folarin’s love for the development of his people has made him gone beyond his conventional legislative business to influencing and ensuring so much infrastructure for his people. This is no doubt a testament to his capacity to take Oyo State to greater heights if given the executive powers as governor of Oyo State.

Honorable Prince Olaide Akinremi “Jagaban” has also proven to be a man of great developmental ideas. As chairman, House Committee on Research Institutes and Chairman House Ad-hoc Committee on arms and amonitions , he has invented meaningful developmental projects,  empowerment and vocational training for youths and women in the constituecy. The infrastructural and human capital initiatives of Hon. (Prince) Olaide Akinremi “Jagaban” has already
placed the constituecy on the accelerated template of moving forward in development than other constituecies in the present Oyo State

The philanthropic gestures of Hon. Prince Olaide Akinremi is a true test of his love and passion to improve the lives of his people if given the opportunity to represent them for second term at the Red Chambers.

Sen. Teslim Folarin’s unrivaled representation and developmental strides in Oyo Central Senatorial district is a proof of his capacity to “Build A New Oyo State” and bring us back on track of socio-economic greatness if given the chance to rule Oyo State.

Ibadan North Federal Constituency shall gain more with the visionary and quality representation by Hon. (Prince) Olaide Akinremi as representative working in synergy with the Sen.Teslim Folarin as governor of Oyo State.

It is said that a Nation/State that fails to learn from its past mistakes will continue to reap its woes. The greatest evil that will happen to Oyo State is if we allow the person who has given all support to the evil and anti-people administration of the State get into power to perpetrate another round of evil governance.

Fortunately for Oyo State and Ibadan North Federal Constituency, I saw hope when I sighted Hon. (Prince) Olaide Akinremi coming with His Excellency, Sen Teslim Folarin to the rescue of our dear Oyo State. Indeed our hope is renewed.

H. E. Sen. Teslim Folarin as Oyo state Governor and Hon. (Prince) Olaide Akinremi as Federal Representative of Ibadan North is the right synergy we need to liberate Oyo State from its present state of socio- economic doldrum.

With the “EDGE” agenda, Hope has come to Ibadan North and Building a New Oyo State is now Possible.
Oyo State shall be great again.

Let’s Vote Honorable Prince Olaide Akinremi as representativel of Ibadan North Federal Constituency and Senator Teslim Folarin as governor of Oyo State.
