In his words,”First of all, I thank Almighty God for the gift of life and his abundant blessings.
“For every contest, there must be a winner. Throughout electioneering period, we engaged in issue-based campaign and we toured nooks and crannies of Ibadan Southwest Constituency-I.
“More importantly, I thank our esteemed leaders, and committed members of our great Accord Party for the opportunity given to contest in the just concluded general elections. I sincerely thank my political movement, my families, fans, and friends, for their unalloyed love and immense supports. Appreciations.
“I don’t take your support for granted and I pledge to remain committed to pro-people agenda.
“I salute our electoral umpire, INEC. Though, we’re yet to get the electoral system right. Some inadequacies were noted, but we have moved on. I congratulate the winner on his victory, and I also charge him to learn from the past and work for the development of our dear constituency.
