2026 Guber Poll: Alubarika Movt Holds Statewide Coordinators’ Strategic Meeting Across Osun State

In a bold move to consolidate its grassroots strength and deepen its strategic engagement ahead of the 2026 gubernatorial race, the Alubarika Movement, under the leadership of its Chairman, Alhaji Kehinde Olamolu, convened a high-level meeting with all local government coordinators across Osun State.
The meeting, held in Osogbo, brought together a powerful lineup of the Movement’s management team, including Hon. Adeoye Adelakun, Hon. Adebisi Yinusa, Hon. Fatoki Rafiu, Comrade Waheed Adeniran, Hon. Maruf Olanrewaju (Larry Jay), Hon. Folarin Facowora, Rt. Hon. Akintunde Adegboye, Hon. Bisi Odewumi, Hon. Jayeona Alabama, and Jayeona Alagbada and several other key mobilisers. The session served as a vital platform for refining the Movement’s vision, reaffirming its grassroots commitment, and reinforcing support for the candidacy of Senator Dr Ajibola Basiru (SRJ).
Speaking at the gathering, Alhaji Kehinde Olamolu emphasised the importance of structured coordination and message discipline as the 2026 elections approach. He urged all coordinators to be strategic ambassadors of SRJ’s vision across their localities by maintaining political decorum, promoting unity, and avoiding all forms of electoral violations.

“This movement is not just about politics; it is about values, strategy, and service to the people. SRJ represents competence, character, and courage. Our duty is to take that message to every home, street, and polling unit in Osun,” the chairman declared.

The coordinators were trained on tactical grassroots mobilisation, citizen engagement, and issue-based advocacy, focusing on how to effectively communicate SRJ’s qualifications, integrity, and track record to the electorate. Also discussed were modern campaign ethics, voter education, and inclusive political behaviour that reflects respect for the democratic process.
Each speaker underscored the necessity of consistency, coordination, and clarity in messaging, noting that SRJ’s candidacy stands as a beacon of hope for Osun’s forward movement.
The meeting concluded with renewed energy and actionable plans to strengthen local structures, deepen community engagement, and ensure that The Alubarika Movement remains a leading force in shaping Osun’s political future.
