2027: Oyo APC Backs Tinubu’s 2nd Bid As Renewed Hope Ambassadors’ Grand Finale Rally Holds in Ibadan North Federal Constituency

As part of the efforts to mobilise support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu come 2027, the grand finale of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in collaboration with the All Progressives Congress (APC) Oyo State chapter was held on Tuesday in the Ibadan North Federal Constituency of Oyo State. The Oyo APC leaders engaged party members and grassroots stakeholders in the federal constituency.

Former First Lady, Chief (Dr) Florence Ajimobi, the Oyo State Ambassador of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Senator Teslim Folarin, and other party leaders in the state, such as Minister of Power Chief Adebayo Adelabu, Oyo Central Senator Dr Yunus Akintunde, Oyo North Senator Senator AbdulFatai Buhari, Oyo South Senator Dr Sharafadeen Alli, Party Chairman Alhaji Olayide Abas, Ibadan North Ambassador Oloye Shina Alabi, and Oyo APC Peace Advocates’ Convener Prince Níran Adeyoju, were all present at the open field of Police Headquarters, Yemetu, the venue of the event.

Other important figures present were; Prince Akeem Adeyemi, lawmaker representing Oyo Federal Constituency, Hon. Olafisoye Akinmoyede lawmaker representing Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency, Hon. Remi Oseni, Hon. Olamiju Alao-Akala, Hon. Olu Akintola, Hon. Bolaji Repete, Prof. Adeolu Akande, Hon. Adigun Abiodun Murphy, Hon. Ambali Abiodun, Hon. Akeem Akogun and Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Oyo Central Senatorial District, Hon. John Oyebamiji, Alhaji MKO Adeoye, Alhaji Kamorudeen Ajisafe, Chief Kunle Sanda, Chief Lekan Adeyemo, Alhaji BAO Oladeji, Hon. Lasun Adebunmi, Hon. Wale Sanusi and Chairman, Oyo State APC Caucus in the UK, Hon. Adebayo Amusat-Gbenla and several others.

Senator Folarin, while addressing the teeming party loyalists, delivered President Tinubu’s message of hope and good governance that transcends all sectors of the economy. He assured everyone at the rally that President Tinubu will continue to lead with clarity of purpose and an unbiased mind to deliver the Renewed Hope agenda across all 774 local government areas in the country.

Senator Folarin hinted that the internal wrangling has been settled. He said the party is more united now and focused on the 2027 general elections.

Minister of Power Chief Adebayo Adelabu lauded the strategic and courageous spirit of the APC stakeholders to resolve the internal crisis.

Senator Sharafadeen Alli, representing Oyo South Senatorial District, urged the people of his Senatorial District to remain committed to the party’s principles and progress while hinting that the Oyo South Senatorial meeting will be held soon, and he appealed to party faithful to remain united and dislodge PDP.

Hon. Bunvic, Col. Adegbola, Hon. Skimmeh, Bayo Shittu, Hon. Lafi, Hon. Muhammadan, Barr. Agbaje, Hon. Adewale Murphy, Hon. Adigun Murphy, Hon. Lapido, Hon. Radical, Hon. Socrates and several others also took time to respectively give their remarks and canvass support for President Tinubu’s 2nd term bid.
