2027: United We Stand, Divided We Fall – Adelabu Urges Unity As Power Minister Meets APC Oke-Ogun-II in Saki

Barely 24 hours after his 12.5 million naira empowerment gesture to the All Progressives Congress (APC) media across the 33 local government areas of Oyo State, the minister of power and 2027 APC gubernatorial aspirant, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, has again extended his philanthropic support—this time with 18 million naira to leaders and elders of the APC in Oke-Ogun Zone II.
The event, which took place at Saki Town Hall, in Saki, brought together leaders, elders, and members of the party from Oorelope, Saki East, Saki West, Olorunsogo, Irepo, and Atisbo local governments.
Adelabu, who was accompanied by Oloye Wasiu Ajimobi (a brother to the late former governor Senator Abiola Ajimobi), Hon. Abiodun Ambali, Alhaji Wale Sanusi, Alhaji Kola Amoo, Hon. Fatai Adesokan, Hon. Ademola Sangokunle and other stakeholders, emphasised the importance of party unity, internal democracy, and collective progress as the APC prepares for 2027.

According to the minister, “With unity, APC can regain Oyo State. PDP is only a tenant in Agodi government house. A divided house can never be victorious. Internal democracy must prevail, starting from our upcoming congress. I want to assure you that no candidate will be imposed on us. Together, we must stand strong and return to power in 2027.

Adelabu further reiterated that his gestures remain consistent with his mission to empower youth, women, persons with disabilities, and widows, while strengthening the party structure across all zones.
In his remarks, Hon. Kareem Abisodun, representing Saki West, Saki East, and Atisbo Federal Constituency, commended Minister Adelabu’s efforts in the power sector nationwide and sought his intervention for the zone. He praised Adelabu’s strides as Power Minister, describing him as a man of good records.
He pledged that the residents of the six local governments would massively support and vote for APC in 2027, ensuring the party’s return to power in the state.
Oloye Wasiu Ajimobi stated that the people of Ibadan solidly backed Adelabu’s gubernatorial aspirations. He urged residents of Oke-Ogun Zone-II to rally behind Adelabu to wrest power from the ruling PDP.
Other notable attendees were the former ALGON Chairman in the state, Hon. Yekeen Popoola; Alhaji Najeem Omirinde; Dr YY Muslim; Isiaka Ayanwale; Chief Enoch Adediran and others.
