June 25, 2020 was a sad day in the progressive(APC) fold in Oyo state and Nigeria at large after getting the heart broken news that you have left this sinful world . The quality time you spent together with us here is still lingering in our memories .
Yes, your immortal presence on earth is what makes many of us to doubt the news of your demise for very long time after June 25, 2020 until it was clearly dawned on us that you have finally gone to celestial city but left indelible footprints on earth.
Your Excellency sir, Sen. Abiola Ajimobi, we take solace in Almighty God that you lived a fulfilled life and left immortal legacies behind .
You are a strong pillar and rallying point of supports in the progressive tendency and Nigeria at large. Many of your rare qualities sell you most to the generality of people; Your charismatic mode of leadership, seasoned administrative skills, ingenious resourcefulness, candid disposition, courageous outlook, incandescent oratory and unique character.
You are an ultimate bridge builder that connects all and sundry at all times and you remain worthy advisor to many of us . You always seek ways to meet people, build bridges across all divides and organise a more better country. Sir, Your Excellency, Sen. Abiola Ajimobi , we miss you and we will all continue to miss you .
Sir, your contributions to the development of Oyo state as her helmsman can never be overemphasized. You raised the bar of good governance by many of your laudable projects and programs: Construction of quality roads across nooks and crannies of the state, infrastructural developments, maximum and adequate security of lives and properties , robust payment of workers’ salary to the last ‘kobo’ before you left office as governor and this was recently attested to by the current Oyo State TUC Chairman, Comrade Emmanuel Ogundiran on a live radio program and so on .
Sir, you remained the most youth – loving and accessible governor so far in the history of Oyo state. Our “The Most Equitable Governor” as conferred on you during your reign as Oyo CEO/CSO , you led with justice and equity towards all and sundry, nooks and crannies of the state without fear or favour.
No one is infallible except Almighty God, you may have your own human mistakes as all men do have but you are far better than many of your critics and you remain gloriously great even in death .
Your Excellency sir ,Sen. Abiola Ajimobi, your signatures are “everywhere you go” like slogan of a telecommunication network. You have left a vacuum that will be very difficult to fill but we pray that may God Almighty give your immediate family, political family, Oyo state and Nigeria at large fortitude to bear the irreparable loss of your demise .
We your humble proteges , ardent loyalists and loyal followers . Ibadan land as a whole , Oyo state in particular, progressive fold in general and Nigeria at large greatly miss you .
Sir, our prayer is that May Almighty God continue to be pleased with you, perfect everythings that concern you, all you left behind and make paradise your accommodating abode .
