5th Series: Senator Buhari Puts Smiles on Faces of Another 350 Constituents • Lawmaker Trains, Gives Starter Pack of N100,000 to Each Trainee As Empowerments

A total of 350 constituents of Oyo North Senatorial District have been trained on various skills and business opportunities and empowered with a sum of N100,000 each at the ongoing 5th series of Empowerments that started in September, 2024.
The empowerments, facilitated by the Distinguished Senator representing Oyo North Senatorial District, Dr. Buhari Abdulfatai in conjunction with The Federal College of Freshwater Fisheries Technology, New Bussa was held at two different centers of Ogbomoso Parapo Hall, Apake and Atobatele Hall, Ijeru area between Wednesday 2nd and Friday 4th October, 2024.
At the two centers where the participants totalling 350 selected from the 13 Local government areas in Oyo North, were trained on rudiments of becoming successful entrepreneurs and owners of businesses in the face of various challenges in Nigeria.
According to Senator Buhari who visited the two centers, he embarked on the empowerments of his constituents in order to reduce the negative effects of the present hardship on them and give the constituents a breath of relief from the economic challenges facing the citizens of the country.
While lauding the federal government on various poverty eradication initiatives being put in place to make things easier for the citizens, Senator Buhari admonished his constituents to make best use of opportunity given to them, so that they can be economically stable.
“This government, led by our leader, President Bola Tinubu meant well for us all. We only need to be patient with the government and support The President with prayers so that he can take us to the promised land”, Senator Buhari said.
Buhari enjoined the beneficiaries to remain calm and have absolute trust in All Progressives Congress led Federal government reiterating that just like every other developed country in the world that had experienced what Nigeria is currently experiencing at one time and the other, the country will also overcome hers.
The lawmaker assured people of Oyo North that he shall continually facilitate opportunities that will help to reduce poverty among his people at regular intervals.
It shall be recalled that the lawmaker facilitated training and empowerment of 1000 constituents in the month of September, 2024 when each of them went home with a sum of one hundred thousand naira at various centers in Igboho, Saki, Ogbomoso and Iseyin.
