6th Coronation Anniversary: Ogunesan congratulates Okere of Saki, lauds monarch’s dedicated, purposeful leadership

A chieftainess of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State and former Head of Service (HoS), Chief (Mrs) Hannah Olawumi Ogunesan, MFR, has congratulated His Royal Majesty, Oba Khalid Olabisi Oyedepo Ilugbemidepo (Ilufemiloye I), the Okere of Saki, on the auspicious occasion of the sixth anniversary of his ascension to the revered throne of Saki Land.
In a message personally signed by the respected community leader, Mrs Ogunesan lauded the Monarch’s six years of dedicated, purposeful, and progressive leadership. She highlighted that since his coronation, the Okere has been a unifying force, a beacon of cultural pride, and a steadfast partner in the development of Saki and its environs.
“Your reign, Kabiyesi, has been marked by wisdom, grace, and an unwavering commitment to the peace, progress, and prosperity of the Saki people,” Mrs Ogunesan stated. “You have skilfully blended the rich traditions of our heritage with a forward-looking vision for a modern and thriving community. Your accessibility and deep empathy for the welfare of your subjects are truly commendable.”

Mrs Ogunesan specifically noted the monarch’s role in fostering harmony, encouraging educational pursuits, and supporting initiatives aimed at youth empowerment and economic growth within the kingdom. She expressed confidence that under his continued guidance, Saki would reach even greater heights.

“On this milestone of your sixth year on the throne of your ancestors, I join all the sons and daughters of Saki Land, both at home and in the diaspora, in celebrating you. We pray that Almighty God continues to endow you with robust health, divine wisdom, and long life to lead us for many more years in peace and abundance,” she added.
Ogunesan reaffirmed her personal commitment and that of her initiatives to support community development projects that align with the monarch’s vision for a greater Saki.
She wished the Okere a joyful celebration and a reign filled with continued success and honour.
