Today at the historic Liberty Stadium, Ibadan, we witness not merely the inauguration of a new executive council, but the rebirth of hope, harmony, and high purpose within the Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress.
I extend my warmest and most profound congratulations to His Excellency Chief Moses Alake-Adeyemo, the newly elected Chairman of Oyo APC, and to every distinguished member of this dynamic Executive Committee.
Chief Alake-Adeyemo’s emergence is both timely and providential. A seasoned administrator, bridge-builder, and statesman, he served meritoriously as Deputy Governor of Oyo State for two impactful terms under the visionary leadership of the late former Governor Abiola Ajimobi. In those years, he demonstrated loyalty without servility, strength without noise, and leadership without division. His antecedents are marked by discipline, strategic insight, and a calm but firm commitment to progressive ideals.
At a moment when unity, peace, and tranquility are indispensable to the consolidation and future triumph of Oyo APC, the choice of Chief Alake-Adeyemo inspires confidence. He understands governance, he understands party structure, and above all, he understands people. His experience in the crucible of executive leadership equips him uniquely to heal, harmonise, and reposition the party for renewed electoral victory.
