A Step Towards A Greater Nigeria – Sen Buhari Praises Adedeji’s FIRS Appointment.

The appointment of Zaccheus Adedeji as acting Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been described as a right step for a better Nigeria.

The statement was contained in a congratulatory message from the Senator representing the people of Oyo North Senatorial District, Dr. Buhari Abdulfatai, to Adedeji, whom he identified as a brother, friend, and confidant, on his well-deserved appointment.

While hinting that President Tinubu has put the best person to manage the enviable revenue agency, FIRS, Senator Buhari described the new appointee as a truly first-class product whose academic and managerial excellences have prepared him solidly for the new task.

“With Adedeji as FIRS boss, I am confident that FIRS will experience a positive turnaround that will undoubtedly align with President Tinubu’s agenda to make Nigeria great”, Senator Buhari stated.

Senator Buhari expressed assurance that Adedeji will greatly improve on his wealth of experience, first as a commissioner of Oyo State, then as Executive Secretary of the National Sugar Development Council, and until this appointment, as Special Adviser to President Tinubu on Revenue, to make the country great.

Senator Buhari thanked the President for counting Adedeji worthy of the position, though in an acting capacity for 90 days, while he stated that Adedeji’s performance will surely earn him the substantial seat of FIRS Chairman.

The legislator congratulated Adedeji on his appointment while praying for him to continually prosper and be a pride of Oyo State.
