A Sweet And Huge Victory for Democracy – OYHA Hopeful, Teslim Kunle Congratulates Oyo ALGON, Charges Makinde to Strictly Adhere to S’Court Verdict.
A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and 2023 House of Assembly Hopeful from Iseyin/Itesiwaju State Constituency, Hon. Teslim Kunle has hailed the Supreme Court judgment delivered on a case involving Seyi Makinde-led Oyo State Government versus the elected chairmen and councillors on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a statement he personally signed in Iseyin and made available to journalists on Saturday, Hon. Teslim popularly known as Teskom described ALGON’s victory at the apex court as “a sweet, bitter but a huge victory for democracy.”
He noted that the victory is not only for the APC family but also for the people of Oyo State who massively voted for APC in 2018 local government elections.
“No matter how long, truth will always prevail over falsehood. The Friday’s judgement is a victory for democracy, triumph of legality over impunity”.
“By this judgement, Governor Makinde must have realised that he goofed. I urge him to adhere strictly to the final judgment of the Supreme Court to avoid further embarrassment” Hon. Teskom said.
