Abisola’s Death Came with Rude Shock – Oyo APC Mourns Late Gov Ajimobi’s Daughter
The All Progressives Congress APC has described the transition of Mrs. Abisola Kola-Daisi as most unfortunate, shocking and devastating as well as one which left a sour grape in the mouths of many people.
The news of the demise of the 42 year-old first daughter of the late former governor of the State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, sent shocking across the state as she reportedly died in the early hours of Thursday in the United Kingdom.
In a statement issued and made available to journalists in Ibadan by its Publicity Secretary, Olawale Sadare, Oyo APC regretted that “such an epitome of humility, simplicity and kindness had to be taken away by death at an inauspicious time leaving a multitude in awe of mourning and lamentations.
“At the moment, we lack the appropriate expressions to describe the mood in our Party as the news of her death came to us with disbelief and shock. Nonetheless, we pray to God almighty to grant Her Excellency, Chief Florence Ajimobi, Hon. Kolapo Kola-Daisi and the entire filial and political family members of the Ajimobis the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.” Oyo APC stated.
