A younger brother to the Olubadan of Ibadan Land, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji(Aje Ogunguniso-I), Chief Ambali Adetunji and other prominent Ibadan descendants have, today, paid a courtesy visit to the Scion of the great Agbaje Salami and Oyo-State Gubernatorial Aspirant, on the platform of the All Progressives Congress(APC), comes 2023, Barr. Akeem Agbaje in his office, in Ibadan, the state capital.
Others in Chief Adetunji’s company are Chief Yaya Busari(Omoaje), the Babaloja of Adegoke Adelabu Market, Chief Sulaimon Atolagbe, Eketa Olomi of Omi-Adio and Madam Kudirat Yekini.
While speaking, Chief Adetunji, reminisced Barr Akeem Adedeji Agbaje’s pedigree. Indeed, I’m so grateful to have you around and on behalf of myself, and my entire teaming supporters across the state, I joyfully welcome you here. And, also, I appreciate your supports towards our rescue team’s efforts to liberate Oyo-State from the grip of the conservative forces manning her affairs, presently. To the glory of God and service to humanity, ours is to lead and serve with fear of God and to give the best to the good people of Oyo-State”.
In their respective remarks, others, also, lauded Barr. Agbaje for his countless efforts towards strengthening the party, APC in the state and for his immense supports for the good people of Oyo-State, especially, the downtrodden.
Barr. Akeem is a progeny of the Legendary Agbaje Salami L’Ayeye. The Great Agbaje Salami was an earlier Ibadan billionaire, first generation Nigerian politician, influential statesman and notable philanthropist who had immensely contributed his own quota to the sociocultural, socioreligious and sociopolitical advancements and developments of Ibadan Land and its environs.
