“ADEHUN 2023”: Legal Luminary, Akeem Agbaje Hosts APC Faithful from Ogbomoso, Others Across Oyo-State.

A Leading Gubernatorial Hopeful, on the platform of the All Progressives Congress(APC), in Oyo-State, come 2023, Barrister Akeem Agbaje has played host to the faithful of the Party, APC from Ogbomoso zone, and others across the state, in his office, today, in Ibadan, the state capital.

While welcoming the party faithful, the Legal Luminary, Agbaje said that, “On behalf of myself, supporters and campaign organisation, It’s my joy to welcome you all, the worthy and esteemed faithful of our great Party, APC, here today. Truth must be told, it’s my pride that all of you are here, today, to be associated with us and our Oyo Liberation Agenda, ‘ADEHUN Gubernatorial Project-2023’, a giant stride put forward to make life more better for the good people of Oyo-State.

“As our campaign mantra indicates, ‘Adehun’, which means promise. I’m, emphatically, saying it that it’s our promise that if the mandate is given to us, come 2023, I and my team, will make life more better for the indigenes and residents of this great state, irrespective of their region or religion”,Agbaje affirmed.

“As we’ve severally reiterated it, If voted into power, our government will strongly focus on youth and women development. Women empowerment is a must because women are the central hearts of the family, by extension, society and the nation at large.

“We’ll provide a robust security coverage across the state. And as we all know, our state is in sorry state when it comes to the issues of security and other key elements of a good governance.

“Also, we’ll definitely ensure good and affordable transportation system, which is long overdue in the state. Our government will make it a matter of priority. Furthermore, it’s part of our programmes to make electricity available to all citizens of Oyo State. Adequate power supply will definitely boost business activities, industrialization and productivity, in this great pacesetter state.

While responding, the leader of the party faithful from Ogbomoso zone of the state, comprises of Oriire, Ogo-Oluwa, Surulere, Ogbomoso South and Ogbomoso North Local Government Areas, Hon. Sunday A. Oloyede, described Barr. Agbaje as a core party man and genuine lover of people who has tremendously proved that at any given opportunity to support the party and help people.

“Indeed, you are a core party man. We’re not only hearing your good deeds, across the board, but we’re also seeing and feeling it. Especially, the supports you rendered to the party across the state during the recent membership registration exercise. Your Ileya gifts splashed across the state is still a talk of the town or can we also mention your immense supports towards the ongoing APC ward, local government and state congresses, among many other gestures of your honour. All of these your great activities have clearly proved you to us as a man of the people and it has convinced us to key into your ‘ADEHUN 2023 Guber Project’ and we will follow you to the government house as our governor-elect come 2023, by His Grace”.

In his short remarks, the illustrious Son of Ibadan Land, Agbaje stated that it is God using him to do all what he has been doing to support the party faithful and help the masses. “I’m a man of my words and I mean it that all what you’ve mentioned are just tip of an iceberg and, by His Grace, I promise to do more than that and serve the state, efficiently, if the mandate is given, come 2023”, he said.

Similarly, Agbaje also met the people, across the state, who paid him courtesy visit and he reiterated his messages of hope for good people of the state, Oyo.

In another arrangement, Barr Agbaje granted media interview to the pressmen who visited him from different media houses across the state. He emphasised many sectoral areas where Seyi Makinde PDP led government is lacking and he itemized the key gists of his gubernatorial blue print to reposition Oyo state, to a great loftier heights.

Barr. Akeem is a progeny of the Legendary Agbaje Salami L’Ayeye. The Great Agbaje Salami was an earlier Ibadan billionaire, first generation Nigerian politician, influential statesman and notable philanthropist who had immensely contributed his quota to the sociocultural, socioreligious and sociopolitical advancements of Ibadan Land and its environs.
