Adelabu Mourns Chief Oyelade, Says He Would Be Missed by All.
Chief Adebayo Adelabu, the Minister of Power, expressed profound sorrow over the passing of Alhaji Lateef Oyedoyin Oyelade, the Eekefa Olubadan, and Baba Isale Musulumi of Ibadanland. He deemed this loss a profound tragedy for the ancient city of Ibadan and the entire Oyo State.
Adelabu extolled the late Alhaji Oyelade as an exemplary Ibadan citizen who made significant contributions to the progress of Oyo State throughout his lifetime. The Minister underscored the philanthropic spirit of the deceased, emphasising his quiet yet substantial support for individuals, regardless of their religious, political, or ethnic backgrounds, through his various ventures nationwide.
Adelabu emphasised that Alhaji Lateef Oyedoyin Oyelade’s legacy will endure, particularly for his acts of benevolence and generosity towards society’s less fortunate.
Additionally, Chief Adelabu extended his condolences to the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Dr. Moshood Lekan Balogun, for the loss of one of his senior chiefs, Alhaji Oyelade, who departed from this world on Friday of this week.
Finally, the Agbaakin Parakoyi of Ibadan land, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, offered prayers, beseeching Allah to grant the family of Alhaji Oyelade and the Muslim community in Ibadan, as well as the broader Oyo state, the strength to endure this profound loss.”
